16 Days, 16 Voices
Between November 25 and December 10, millions mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), a call to action to end all forms of GBV.
This year, at the Courage to Act Foundation, we chose to honour these 16 days by amplifying the people at the heart of our work. Through our 16 Days, 16 Voices campaign, we shared daily reflections from community members on LinkedIn, each one offering insight into what it means to have the courage to act in the work to prevent and address GBV
From team members and advisors to students, educators, and community partners across the country, these voices remind us that courage is both personal and collective, rooted in care, persistence, and the belief that a future without GBV is possible.
The 16 Days may be over, but our commitment to ending gender-based violence is not.
We invite you to reflect on what courage means in your own community, and to join us in taking action, today, tomorrow, and every day.
We know this work can be heavy. You’re not alone. Take a break by visiting our Virtual Self-Care Room.
