Call all STEM students: Join the Courage to Act Foundation’s National Student Advisory Council

Are you passionate about making your campus and campuses across the country safer and more inclusive? The Courage to Act Foundation is looking for student ambassadors like you to join our National Student Advisory Council.

At the Courage to Act Foundation, we are committed to creating safer, more inclusive learning environments where women and gender-diverse students studying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) can thrive. As part of that mission, we are seeking six student ambassadors from post-secondary institutions (universities, colleges, and CEGEPs) across Canada to join this meaningful initiative.

What Is the National Student Advisory Council?

The Council brings together students who are passionate about preventing sexual and gender-based violence in STEM education. Members will help shape our tools, campaigns, and conversations that support safer learning spaces on campuses nationwide.

What You'll Do as a Council Member

As a member of the National Student Advisory Council, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Courage to Act team to review and develop resources that address sexual harassment in STEM learning environments

  • Act as an ambassador for Courage to Act initiatives, including national campaigns like Consent Awareness Week

  • Build your leadership skills while making a national impact

Honorarium and Time Commitment

Council members will receive an honorarium of $150 per month over the 6-month term, with an expected time commitment of approximately 4 hours per month.
