ARC Model
When a student shares that they have experienced sexual harassment or violence, understanding how to respond can be challenging.
Acknowledge, Respond, Connect
The ARC Model stands for Acknowledge, Respond and Connect. Developed by Possibility Seeds in 2023, ARC is a three-step, support-first approach designed to help post-secondary employees (i.e., faculty and staff) and employers respond effectively to disclosures of sexual harassment and violence in professional environments.
ARC Resources
The resources below adapt the ARC model for leaders and practitioners of Experiential Learning (EL) and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) in Canada, particularly (but not exclusively) for those who teach and support science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

ARC e-Learning Module
The ARC e-Learning Module is a micro-learning course that equips educators and leaders with the practical skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to sexual harassment and violence in EL and WIL contexts.
Through applied, scenario-based learning, participants will gain guidance on supporting students who experience harm, navigating disclosures with care, and strengthening safer, more accountable learning and work environments.
