The Safer STEM Lab is a free, six-part professional training series by the Courage to Act Foundation. This virtual program equips participants with the skills and tools to prevent sexual harassment and foster safer, more inclusive learning and working environments.

Session FAQ

  • The series is open to participants across Canada and designed for student affairs professionals, post-secondary staff and faculty, STEM employers, HR leaders, and workplace supervisors. If you shape student learning, institutional policy, or workplace culture in STEM, this program is for you!

  • The Safer STEM Lab will consist of six virtual sessions, scheduled for:

    • October 1

    • October 8

    • October 22

    • October 29

    • November 12

    • November 19

    Sessions will run from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm ET.

  • By participating in all six sessions, you will:

    • Receive a Certificate of Completion

    • Collaborate across sectors to drive real change in STEM

    • Build a national network of peers and leaders

    • Access exclusive consultations with expert speakers
