The Safer STEM Lab is a free, six-part professional training series by the Courage to Act Foundation. This virtual program equips participants with the skills and tools to prevent sexual harassment and foster safer, more inclusive learning and working environments.

The series is open to participants across Canada and designed for student affairs professionals, post-secondary staff and faculty, STEM employers, HR leaders, and workplace supervisors. If you shape student learning, institutional policy, or workplace culture in STEM, this program is for you!

The Safer STEM Lab will consist of six virtual sessions, scheduled for:
October 1, 2025: Session 1: Understanding Sexual Harassment in Experiential Learning
October 8, 2025: Session 2: Preparing Students for Experiential Learning Opportunities
October 22, 2025: Session 3: Building Institutional Policies & Protocols (Part 1)
October 29, 2025: Session 4: Aligning Institutional Policies & Protocols (Part 2)
November 12, 2025: Session 5: Fostering Meaningful Engagement with STEM Employers
November 19, 2025: Session 6: Growing Change Together
Sessions will run from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm ET.
