Join the Movement: How to Get Involved with Courage to Act

Join the Courage to Act Movement (IG).png

Over the last three years, Possibility Seeds’ Courage to Act has laid a strong foundation for addressing and preventing gender-based violence (GBV) at post-secondary institutions (PSIs). As we enter the next phase of this national project, we will leverage the suite of resources (available in English and French) and national networks created in partnership with over 150 of Canada’s top GBV experts and advocates to support knowledge mobilization and systems/culture change. This phase will:

  • Increase awareness and application of tools, policies, and procedures created in early phases of the project through piloting, consultation, and community engagement;

  • Improve knowledge and resources on GBV prevention and education through the release and promotion of new tools;

  • Address key gaps through the creation of two new evidence-based tools on sexual violence in experiential learning, and a vital community risk assessment on GBV for PSIs; and

  • Continue to build and enhance collaboration and capacity-building across PSIs through our National Skillshare Series and expansion of the Knowledge Centre.

We can’t do this work without you! Read on for some exciting opportunities to share your experience and expertise and shape national efforts to address and prevent GBV. Thank you for joining the conversation. Thank you for taking courageous action.
